Tyson: I'm a big fang of Luis

Tyson: I'm a big fang of Luis

HOTHEAD Luis Suarez has a new fan in the shape of fellow-biter, Mike Tyson.

Just minutes after the feisty Uruguayan bit the arm of Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic in yesterday’s game, Tyson

started following him on Twitter.

The former world heavyweight boxing champ — who tore off part of Evander Holyfield’s ear with his teeth in 1997 —

was banned from boxing and fined £2million.

Liverpool has now fined Suarez for yesterday’s incident and the striker has expressed his wish for the money to be

donated to the Hillsborough Family Support Group.

The 26-year-old was also offered anger management classes from the Professional Footballers’ Association.

Three hours after yesterday's game, the Liverpool striker apologised on his Twitter page: “I’m sad for what happened this

afternoon, I apologise Ivanovic and all football world for my inexcusable behaviour. I’m so sorry about it!!”

He later told his followers he had spoken to Ivanovic and said: “I’ve just spoken to Ivanovic on the phone and I could

apologise directly to him. Thanks for accepting.”

Suarez’s attack is the latest in a long line of controversial Premier League incidents involving the unhinged footballer.

In December 2011 he was banned over an offensive gesture aimed toward Fulham fans.

And last October he celebrated a goal against Everton by swallow diving in front of Toffees boss David Moyes — who

had claimed “divers such as Suarez” were putting fans off the game.
