Is this the most dangerous school run in the world?
IT’S certainly a school run where you could do with a 4x4.
But this group of kids making their way to lessons have to manage on their own two feet.
The intrepid children must cross a broken bridge to get home to their village on the west coast of Indonesia.
After widespread destruction following an earthquake in 2008, the bridge has been in tatters ever since.

getting to lessons.
The photographs were taken close to the remote Sumua Bana village.
The group of kids were making their way back from an exam at their school.
And somewhat ironically, the name of the town where their school is based, Pariaman, translates as “safe area”.
For the pupils crossing the river, however, one false step could see them — and their homework — plunge into the water
below.
But at the very least, their intrepid journey should give them a good excuse if they are late to lessons.
