And who will likely be by Whit’s side to give an opinion? None other than BFF and former co-star Lauren Conrad, who announced her engagement to Something Corporate rocker turned law student William Tell in October.
“Whitney talked to Lauren about it and they are so excited,” the source shares.

The insider reveals that Tim proposed to the blond beauty while she was working in Australia about two weeks ago. Tim met Whitney on set of her short-lived Hills spin-off, The City, which aired from 2008 to 2010. He worked as an associate producer.
“He got down on one knee in her hotel room with an stunning oval-shaped diamond ring,” the source tells Life & Style. “She was so surprised. He planned to do it outside, but the weather was bad, so he did it right in the hotel room. She’s very happy.”
