EXCLUSIVE: Look behind the scenes of Becks' latest underwear photoshoot as he shows off a different type of ball skills
Scampering around in tight pants, David Beckham really steels the show as he sends heart rates soaring through the roof.
Goldenballs showed trademark poise and balance as he weaved between scaffolding and air vents on the roof of a former brewery.
Fans will hardly be surprised to learn that he did not accidentally lose his trousers by getting them snagged on one of the long metal poles.
In fact, he stripped to his undies for another of his steamy adverts for clothing brand H&M.
An onlooker said: “He did what looked like some stretching, then he pulled off his vest.
“He was running over some pipes like he was a stuntman.
“There were some blackout screens for the film scenes so he didn’t stop traffic but the girls who spotted him had the best lunch break of the year.
"He looked as fit as ever.”
Becks, 38, was the only person running around on the roof in Brick Lane, East London, but a few others in the crew certainly had a hands-on role.
Most notable was a stylist in a black jacket who was given the task of rearranging the ex-England footballer’s pants to make sure they were pristine.
There was also a chap – who had less realistic tattoos than Becks – who stood in as a body double at times. The video and TV advert shot today on top of the Old Truman Brewery – a site which is packed with shops, cafes and bars – is set to be screened in February.
It will mark two years since Becks began working with H&M on a range of underwear. The company said: “Closer to launch we’ll reveal more details about the new campaign and collection.”
Eight months ago Becks filmed an H&M ad that showed him in
his pants as he pretended to be locked out of his house. It hit the
headlines over the use of a body double - but Becks insisted that there were no imposters used for any of the important bits in the footage.
He told fans: “I can say the crotch is mine and the backside is mine.
“I heard this the other day. Someone said that I had a stand-in for my bum, but, no, I can confirm that’s my bum.”
And with yet more sizzling evidence today, you can bet your bottom dollar that his wife Victoria, 39, still fancies the pants off him.
