Teen Arrested for Swiping a Part From the Porsche Paul Walker Died In

Los Angeles authorities arrested a male teenager on Thursday for stealing a part from the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that Paul Walker was in when he died suddenly in a car accident in Santa Clarita, Calif., last weekend.
The theft occurred when a tow truck picked up the vehicle following the tragic accident on Nov. 30. The investigation led detectives to Jameson Witty, 18, who witnesses say followed the truck and stole a part from the Porsche when it was stopped at a red light. After he grabbed the piece, he drove off.

"A witness saw a male exit a vehicle that was following the tow truck," the sheriff's department said today. "The male grabbed a piece of the wrecked Porsche off the tow truck bed."
A second suspect, a 25-year-old man whose name has not been released, has also been pegged to the crime and has plans to surrender.
Witty was arrested at his home in LA and was being held on $20,000 bail. Investigators have asked the district attorney to consider charging both men with grand theft auto and tampering with evidence.
Vin Diesel Pays Tribute to Fast & Furious Co-star and Friend Paul Walker
Paul, 40, who starred in five of the six Fast & Furious films, was killed when the Porsche crashed into a pole on Saturday afternoon. His friend, Roger Rodas, 38, who was driving the vehicle, also passed away. The seventh installment of the franchise was on break from filming for the Thanksgiving holiday. Authorities are still trying to figure out what exactly caused Roger to lose control of the car, but speed allegedly played a factor.
While many people have paid respect to the late actor, not everyone has done so in good taste.

Earlier this week, Paul’s Eight Below co-star Jason Biggs publicly shamed LA-based coffee chain Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf for putting out two tip jars with the names of two popular films starring Paul — The Fast and The Furious and Varsity Blues.
The branch encouraged patrons to tip the jar of the movie they preferred.
