The first trailer warned us all that America will be destroyed, showing grainy home-video style footage of the White House under siege.
And now a new teaser for action-thriller White House Down reveals the full extent of the CGI created carnage that director Roland Emmerich will be unleashing on cinemagoers this summer.
The film sees the unlikely pairing of a policeman played by Channing Tatum, and Jamie Foxx as the U.S. President who team up to fight against a group of domestic terrorists that have taken over the White House from inside.
But the film has come hot off the heels of a similar-themed action movie Olympus Has Fallen, starring Gerard Butler, which is also about a takeover of the White House.
Channing, who is sporting white vest in the trailer, has admitted that he's inspired by Bruce Willis and his Die Hard character John McClane, as well as other '80s action heroes.
He said: 'I was an 80s, 90s baby so you went to the movie theater every weekend and there was was one on, whether it was Stallone, Van Damme, Seagal or Schwarzenegger himself.'
The Magic Mike actor is also preparing for the role of fatherhood and is expecting his first child with wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum later this year.
Meanwhile, it's going to be a busy summer for Jamie Foxx, 45, who has just been filming The Amazing Spider-Man 2, playing the villain Electro, and is also rumoured to be being considered for the role of Daddy Warbucks in a re-make of the musical Annie.
The cast of White House Down, which also stars Maggie Gyllenhaal, 35, were gathered at last month's 5th Annual Summer of Sony party and seen dancing the night away.
