A ROAD collapsed, swallowing up cars after two cargo trains collided and slammed into a motorway bridge in the US.
The horror crash happened after one loco smashed into the side of another on tracks in Rockview, Missouri.The force derailed both trains and ploughed them into pillars supporting the two-lane Highway M - causing the road to give way and crush the carriages below.
Miraculously no-one was killed by the accident, which took place in the early hours of Saturday.

The five occupants were airlifted to hospital, along with the engineer and conductor on board one of the trains.
The casualties were treated for minor injuries and were all expected to be discharged over the weekend.
