Moet has kept quiet about the whole report till now, 8 months later.
Speaking with Ademola Olonilua of Punch Newspaper, Moet denied being involved in any s*x tape. ‘Now this truly has to end. I know nothing about it‘, she disclosed.
However, reports say that the s*x tape was recorded nine years ago when Moet Abebe was just 16. A close friend to the VJ tells us ‘She was young when it happened, it’s been a long time, she’s moved on and doing very well for herself, why would any release it now?‘.
Moet also denied ever dating Nigerian entertainers Don Jazzy, Dr SID, May D, rappers Terry tha Rapman, Lynxxx, Show Dem Camp, M.I, Loose Kaynon, Beazy and producer Kid Konnect, calling them all ‘friends’
‘We are back to the rumours again. Well to clear the air, I didn’t date any of these men. I’m friends with all of them and I may be closer to some more than others. But it is and has been nothing but friendship. I’ve actually always wondered how this list was put together as there are some names amongst this ‘list’ that I haven’t spoken to in months‘, Moet said.
Reports also say that Moet has even been involved with a fresh list of celebs which include artistes Burna Boy and Shank.
Moet was spotted In October 2013, with Shank attending Felabration music festival at the New Afrika Shrine, Ikeja, Lagos.
‘Oh she’s been with Burna, the crushing was serious‘, another close friend of Moet reveals.
There were also rumours she may have dated rapper Ajebutter 22 for a minute or two. This has however not been confirmed.
The VJ whose real name is Laura Monyeazo Abebe is the daughter of John Abebe, the brother of a late first lady of Nigeria, Stella Obasanjo. She is currently on holiday in Dubai.
