Cristiano Ronaldo is ready to return for Real Madrid after an injury lay-off. While watching his team-mates in action, however, he appeared to lose his interest in the ball – and little wonder.
The Portuguese winger was joined by stunning model girlfriend Irina Shayk, as the Spanish giants took on Valladolid at the Bernabeu stadium.
Seated in an exclusive member's area high in the stands, the pair appeared to spend more time looking at one another than the veritable goal fest taking place down below.
Indeed, as Madrid plundered four goals in a one-sided match on Saturday evening, midfielder Ronaldo wrapped an arm around Russian model Irina's shoulders and pulled her close.
The 28-year-old appeared to be smitten as she nestled her head into his chest.
Sultry Sports Illustrated cover girl Irina recently topped Maxim Russia's Hot 100 Women list, an accolade that follows her first place in the Hottest Russian Women poll conducted by Complex magazine. "Thank you Maxim Russia for this nice surprise," she wrote after learning of her recent accolade. "Huge thanks to those who voted for me."
Ronaldo will soon be forced to leave Irina in the stands when he returns to action with Real Madrid after confirming he has recovered from a thigh strain picked up during a match against Almeria on November 23.
Real Madrid's next game will be away against Olimpic de Xativa on December 7.
